William W. Lundquist

Houston, Texas

William (Will) W. Lundquist is a civil trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of products liability, agriculture law, and the representation of insurers in first party insurance claims across the country. His practice areas include experience in complex, multidistrict, mass tort, and class action litigation, as well as representing clients in numerous individual cases in both state and federal courts.

Will has received continued recognition for his efforts within his practice areas, being named a Texas Rising Star (a Thomson Reuters service) in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 - an honor bestowed on less than 2.5% of all lawyers under age 40 practicing in Texas. Most recently in both 2015 and 2016, Will was named a Texas Super Lawyer (a Thomson Reuters service) - an honor bestowed on less than 5% of all lawyers practicing in Texas. These annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. Since 2013, Will has also held a rating of "AV Preeminent" in the national Lexis-Nexis Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. The "AV" rating is the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell rating, and is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence." Less than 5% of all lawyers in the United States have received this high rating. Additionally, Will has been featured in several nationwide publications by Legal Leaders as a "Top Rated Lawyer," recently receiving an award from American Registry as one of "America's Most Honored Professionals" and being named a "Top Lawyer in Houston" by Houstonia Magazine in both 2014 and 2015. In September 2015, Will was selected by Rue Ratings as one of the "Best Attorneys in America" based on his "extraordinary level of legal expertise, competency, professional reputation and ethical standards." This distinction is extended to the 100 "Best Attorneys" in Texas and to less than one percent (1%) of the most qualified and accomplished attorneys in the United States. Finally, Will received the Distinguished Lawyer Designation© from The Expert Network in 2016, which is "only conferred upon the Top 3% of lawyers in the nation." This selection is based on a multi-phase research and evaluation process that scrutinizes the records of thousands of lawyers each year in order to select only the most qualified professionals who demonstrate superior influence, leadership, reputation and knowledge.

Prior to joining Clark, Love & Hutson, Will spent the first six years of his practice defending insurance companies in numerous cases involving bad faith insurance claims and unfair settlement practices at Bracewell LLP, one of the largest and most well-respected law firms in the country. He also represented several Fortune 500 companies in complex commercial litigation and business disputes.
