Caryn is a trial lawyer who currently represents plaintiffs in first party bad faith insurance cases as well as in wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases. She has also represented plaintiffs in other areas of the law, including toxic torts, products liability, personal injury and commercial litigation. Caryn is licensed to practice law in all courts in the States of Texas and Oklahoma and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Caryn has successfully negotiated millions of dollars in settlements in matters arising out of toxic torts, products liability and personal injury cases.
Caryn co-founded the Paula Gavrel Asher Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which raises funds for breast cancer research. The annual Judiciary event for the Paula Gavrel Asher Foundation has won several awards from legal associations. Caryn is also a member of the Junior League of Houston.
