Darsey has focused her legal experience on representing plaintiffs in civil litigation in actions for personal injury, medical malpractice and Jones Act cases. Since joining Clark, Burnett, Love & Lee, G.P. in 2009, Darsey has devoted her practice to first party insurance litigation, with an emphasis on bad faith insurance practices involving property damage claims.
Darsey received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in studies of World History and Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Darsey studied under Dean T. Gerald Treece as a member of the nationally recognized mock trial program, traveling nationwide to compete on behalf of the law school. In addition to her continuing contribution to the South Texas advocacy program, Darsey is member of the Houston Young Lawyer’s Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and is also a member of the American Bar Association. Darsey is admitted to practice in the State of Texas.
