Clayton is the managing partner of Clark, Burnett, Love & Lee and supervises the firm’s personal injury, products liability, pharmaceutical, intellectual property and insurance litigation sections. Clayton is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with extensive multi-state experience in trying and settling litigation matters on behalf of plaintiffs.
Clayton graduated from the University of Texas in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1990. He gained invaluable experience by working with famous Texas trial lawyers, prior to forming his own firm in his third year of practice.
Clayton has successfully negotiated over one billion dollars of settlements in the past five years in matters arising out of personal injury, products liability, pharmaceutical, intellectual property and insurance disputes. He currently serves as Plaintiffs’ Liaison Counsel in the In Re: Phen-Fen Litigation and In Re: Paxil Birth Defects Cases, both in the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and served on the PPA National Litigation Group Committee National Bankruptcy Committee for Toxic Tort/Dangerous Drug (In Re; Delaco Bankruptcy New York, New York).
