Amy Collins

Biography

Amy Collins is a trial lawyer who currently represents commercial and residential policy holders in first party, bad faith insurance cases. Since joining Clark, Love & Hutson, in 2009, Amy has attended hundreds of mediations and participated in the settlement of millions of dollars’ worth of cases. 

Amy received her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in Dayton, OH where she graduated cum laude. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College Law where she was named a Howard Warren Scholar. While in law school, Amy gained valuable experience clerking for the Clark, Love & Hutson and working as a research assistant for her legal research and writing professor.

Prior to attending law school, Amy worked as a paralegal for trial lawyers in Ohio and Arizona practicing general civil litigation. 

Amy is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.
