Jeff Vaughan

Biography

Jeff Vaughan began his legal career working for an insurance defense law firm defending large oil and gas corporations and Fortune 500 companies in complex civil and personal injury litigation. While working for the defense, Jeff handled hundreds of injury cases which included trying one of the largest pre-Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion cases.

Unsatisfied with only representing corporations, Jeff became a co-founder and managing partner of Villalobos & Vaughan, PLLC.  In Jeff’s first trial with Villalobos & Vaughan, he obtained a jury verdict in the amount of $5.8 million for one of the firm’s injured clients. The pretrial offer to settle the case by the Defendant – a large insurance company – was $50,000.00. While working with Villalobos & Vaughan, Jeff continued specializing in personal injury and commercial litigation while expanding his areas of practice to pharmaceutical litigation.  During his last two years with Villalobos & Vaughan, Jeff was involved in trying several cases which resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts.

In January 2012, Jeff joined Clark, Love & Hutson as “Of Counsel” and will focus his practice on representing injured individuals in pharmaceutical and medical device cases while continuing to assist with complex commercial disputes. Due to his experience and success in trying civil cases, Jeff provides a unique service to our firm’s clients.
