Dera Barlow joined Clark, Love & Hutson in 2022 and currently serves on the firm's multidistrict litigation dockets with an emphasis on products liability.

Dera earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Cardozo Law's high-ranking dispute resolution program. While in law school, Dera was a competitor and head coach for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Competition Team, which competed in negotiation, arbitration, and mediation competitions all over the country and internationally. In recognition of her success with the ADR Competition Team, Dera was awarded the Jacob Burns Medal for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School. In addition, Dera interned at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the New York City Law Department.

Prior to joining Clark, Love & Hutson, Dera represented Plaintiffs in a wide array of civil matters, including complex personal injury, oil and gas, and ad valorem tax litigation.
